ChristopherWho is Christopher Harrison?

Christopher came into a deep faith in Jesus as a child, having been raised in a Methodist Manse and devoted family. A set of encounters with God led to significant commitment to Jesus as his Friend and Leader. This developed into a call to lead God's people, preach the good news and then to ordination to the Word and Sacrament. Christopher was born in Natal, from a long line of ministers. His spiritual gifts include the apostolic, evangelist and teaching gifts. Through naturally shy and introverted, he knows that God can do amazing things despite us.

Christopher went to Rosebank Bible College for a year, and then to Rhodes University, Grahamstown, where studied theology with Honours in practical theology. He also received his Masters in Missional theology through the University of Pretoria, where he focused on Church Planting in the Methodist Church in South Africa in recent years.

Christopher and Leigh Harrison have been married for over 30 years. Leigh runs her own training consultancy, Belvue Consulting. They have two adult daughters both in the music industry.

We love South Africa and her wonderful people and see so much potential for God’s Kingdom to come and bless all who live here.
